Digitania launches an innovative mobile social networking application

25th August 2008, Budapest - Digitania Hungary launches a new application using an innovative technology – a new phenomenon in mobile – the Bluetooth Mobile Radar. Bluetooth Radar searches other Bluetooth devices in range, saves their address, and then texting them when you are connected OTA (Over-The-Air). Bluetooth Mobile Radar is the first technology in mobile to connect both OTA (Over-The-Air) technology of communication, and Bluetooth technology for discovery purposes.

The Mobile Radar application is primarily designed for the purpose of searching “close by” Bluetooth devices in 5 – 15 meters range, and then texting them OTA (Over-The-Air) over available connection (GPRS, EDGE, 3G). People are able to login directly via the Mobile Radar application, and can download it for free. Another big advantage of the application lies in the fact that others don’t need to have the application online, in which case can use offline private texting.

"We are proud to present the Mobile Radar to the market showing real innovation in usable mobile applications, and how they can be connected to the online world," said James Sharpe, CEO of Digitania. "Digitania has always been an innovative company in the past, and we believe the Mobile Radar will proof our stronghold in this field."
